This is what happens when Google finally understands a business’s website. 📈

When this client came to us, their search visibility was stuck at a flat ceiling of ~80–100 daily impressions. They needed a clear way to break through—so we stepped in with our targeted On-Page SEO Tune-Up.

As soon as search engines indexed our work, their search reach broke past an entire year of limits to hit a record peak of 350+ daily impressions!

Here is the exact plan we executed for them:

Smart Page Hierarchy: We structured headers and sections so search engines immediately know what’s most important (if you watched our recent Fun Fact Friday reel on hierarchy, this is that strategy in action! 🎬).

Custom Schema Markup: We built behind-the-scenes code that explicitly translates page details for search crawlers.

Targeted FAQs & Local Content: We created helpful, search-friendly answers to capture long-tail search questions.

Google & Bing Submissions: We hand-delivered their fresh sitemaps to both Google AND Bing Webmaster Tools so no search traffic got left behind.

Conversion Tweaks: We added clear CTAs and social proof so all these new searchers actually turn into paying clients.

Your business doesn’t need a multi-year SEO mystery. Sometimes, all it takes is the right guide and a strategic tune-up to unlock your momentum.

✨ Go check out our Fun Fact Friday reels for a deeper dive into these website tricks, or drop “SEO” in the comments to see how our On-Page SEO Tune-Up can work for your site!

When Your AI Prompt Goes Horribly Write... 🗿🪨

Once upon a time, AI took “keep it simple” a little too far... 🛋️📖
I asked for a StoryBranded GBP description and got a full-on primal survival tale instead.

“You strong business owner. You hunt big success, feed family, serve tribe.
But Web Monster break! Bad tech make head hurt. Confusion! Surprise costs! You waste precious time fighting code instead of winning customer.”

So naturally made this story into a bedtime story for the small business owners of Ipswich. Turn the sound on, relax, and enjoy tonight’s bedtime story. May your tech headaches be forever defeated! ✨💤

Fun Fact Friday: 4

The hidden Google Maps setting your competitors are completely sleeping on...

When you set up your Google Business Profile, most DIY business owners pick one primary category and stop there. But there is a hidden advantage sitting in your dashboard: Additional Categories.

The catch? Customers can’t actually see these additional categories on your public profile. But behind the scenes, Google’s algorithm uses them to decide exactly which local searches you show up for.

How to optimise it right now:
1. Log into your Google Business Profile dashboard.
2. Ensure your Primary Category is your absolute main job (e.g., Web Designer).
3. Add up to 9 Additional Categories for the other secondary services you provide (e.g., Internet Marketing Service, Marketing Consultant, Software Company).

Do not over-stuff it with unrelated categories, but make sure you claim every single category that actually applies to your business.

Spend 2 minutes updating this tonight and watch your map visibility grow. Save this post so you don’t forget!

Fun Fact 3:
The number 1 reason people see your website on Google but NEVER click it...

When someone searches for help online, they look for two things: immediate visibility and proof that you can solve their exact problem.

If you leave your Title Tag and Meta Description on default settings, you fail both. If you don’t optimise them, users either won’t see your site at all, or they’ll skip right over you because they’re unsure if you’re the right business for their needs.

Here is the blueprint to fix your search results storefront today:

1. THE TITLE TAG (Getting Seen)
This is the big blue headline Google shows searchers. If it doesn’t clearly state your core service and city, the algorithm hides you from local searches, and users won’t know you’re nearby.
* The Formula: Primary Service + Location | Business Name
* Example: Ipswich SEO and Web Design | Cookies and Cache
* Max Length: Keep it under 60 characters so it doesn’t get chopped off!

2. THE META DESCRIPTION (Proving You Are the Right Fit)
This text block is your elevator pitch. If a user is unsure whether you can solve their need, this is where you eliminate their hesitation by answering their biggest pain points.
* The Formula: Problem Solved + Your Service Model + Call to Action
* Example: We take all the website headaches away. Get a professional website without the big price tag and without becoming your own developer. Subscription web design in Ipswich!

Go to Google right now, search “site:yourwebsite.com” and see exactly what your business looks like to a potential client. If it doesn’t clearly show you can solve their needs, save this post and update it tonight!

Fun Fact Friday 2:
The way you use headings (H1, H2, H3) matters!
If you build your own website, make sure your headings are working for you, not against you. It’s more than just dont size.

If you don’t want to hunt through your Wix or Squarespace editor to find your H1s and H2s, let AI do it for you in 60 seconds:

1. Go to your website live in your browser.
2. Press Ctrl + U (or Cmd + Option + U on a Mac) to open the page’s source code.
3. Press Ctrl + A to select everything, then Ctrl + C to copy it.
4. Paste it into an AI chat like ChatGPT along with this exact prompt:

“Act as a professional SEO auditor. I am going to paste the raw HTML source code of my webpage below. Please extract and list all the heading tags (H1, H2, H3, H4) in chronological order so I can see if my page hierarchy is correct. Let me know if there are multiple H1s or if any headings are out of order.”

Why this matters: If your headings are out of order or you have more than one H1, Google and AI search engines get confused and bury your site.

Drop a comment below if you tried it and found a stray heading!

Fun Fact 1: People will leave you reviews if you just…
…ask. It really is that simple.

Use your request for review QR code and link like it’s going out of fashion!! Be annoying, people love it.

I cannot stress enough how often businesses don’t capitalise on this. It makes a MASSIVE impact on your local SEO. MASSIVE!
