This week is Scams Awareness Week, so we sat down with Helene, our Managing Director, to share some practical tips for business owners and finance staff on spotting BEC (Business Email Compromise) before it costs you.

A few simple habits can make all the difference. Scams cost Australian businesses millions every year, and BEC is one of the biggest culprits. It's when a scammer impersonates someone you trust, a supplier, a boss, a client, usually by email, to redirect a payment or get their hands on sensitive information.
