I'm really sad to have to say this, but I will be drastically scaling back the Bad Moog fixatorium over the coming months. This means I won't be taking any new jobs after next week.
There are two big reasons for this - firstly, I don't see a way to make it work economically. The idea was to ensure older consumer-grade equipment of decent quality wasn't consigned to the scrap heap. I simply can't make this work as a one-person operation without charging rates that are unaffordable to most.
Secondly, there is another project that has taken on a life of its own in collaboration with Crosstalk Records. If my gut feeling is correct, this will be a full-time load (so, 6 to 7 days a week) making repairs impossible.
I will continue to support any guarantees on work done that I've made, because I want to stand behind what I've done.
Additionally, a minor reason, the heavy workload and number of hours allotted to repairs has seriously burned me out. I'm surrounded by dead and dying equipment, unable to escape, and facing a tide of increasing operating costs and a worsening economic outlook.
Wanna thank anyone who has supported me and/or had their gear serviced. Pretty sure Earth Audio and Peach Audio can still help folks out with this. Earthling Designs in Wollongong too.
Good evening,
