WAGS at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron… it was a bit of a rockstar move… arriving on Dundee with the motor already warmed up 🫢but great to see such a good mid week turnout on a stunning winter day. The mixed bag of breeze separated the fleet early, and let’s say our prize was the beer and sausage in bread at the end 🤣 thanks Lew for having us on board.

A little tip that can make a big difference to your boat...

Running a dehumidifier is one of the easiest, possibly the best investment you can make if your boat is spending time on the hard stand or sitting in its marina berth. There's nothing better than stepping aboard to find a fresh, dry cabin instead of that damp "boat smell."

It helps:
✅ Reduce mould and mildew
✅ Protect upholstery, timber and electronics
✅ Minimise musty smells
✅ Keep lockers and cabins dry
✅ Reduce corrosion caused by damp air

We run one on Huey (oiur Sonata 26 on the hardstand), and even after a wet weekend of racing, it dries everything out beautifully and keeps the cabin fresh. It's one of those simple additions that really earns its keep.

Just make sure your dehumidifier drains continuously or has someone keeping an eye on the water tank if you're leaving it running for extended periods.

Stopped in to say hi to Nettty and Gerry on Paper Sailors Rock training yacht Vonnie at the Get OnBoard Expo. My partner, Bec recently completed her Day Skipper in Hobart with Netty. She absolutely loved the experience and gained so much confidence. ⛵️

Fixing boats in exotic locations is difficult even in the best conditions and with easy access. Without those things, it's almost impossible, says Lu Heikell.

Just like our clients… we’re super passionate about our boating. Huey (Sonata 26) scored 2nd in the Canaipa Cup Trailerable division last weekend.
