It is a happy Friday!!

Very happy to announce that the distinguished Australian Actress (and the winner of series 4 of AUSTRALIAN SURVIVOR) much loved for her breakout role in LOOKING FOR ALIBRANDI, Pia Miranda will be speaking at the Migrants Life event on the 16th of December, 2023 where we will be showcasing life of Migrants to Australia from different parts of the world.

Submitting your story is FREE and the deadline is 31st October, 2023.
Early bird tickets to the event are also out and can be purchased through the website.

One of the things I learnt after launching ‘The Indian Mate’ was that there are so many stories of people who belong to more than one nation that could relate to all the struggles.

However, each one is unique and came with its own set of challenges depending on the individual, their circumstances and where they came from.

So, this International Migrants Day I’m bringing Migrant stories to life to showcase different journeys at the Melbourne Immigration Museum.

The event will showcase people who have come to Australia over different years and make the Australian culture diverse including Migrants, children of Migrants (who grew up with different cultures) and to celebrate the life of Migrants who are not with us today (submitted by their family & friends).

I have always believed Migrants to be the unsung heroes, people who gambled everything they had ever known with a hope to build a better future moving into unknown places and I hope to showcase this as inspiration for people today and still to come.
