According to South Australia's Treasurer, a cyber attack last year exposed the personal information of 13,088 current and past public servants, far more than previously anticipated.

In addition to the 80,000 employees reported by the previous government last year, Treasurer Stephen Mullighan told parliament last week that a "forensic assessment" by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) had uncovered the extra individuals who had their personal data stolen.
