Most people in the trades are making this one huge mistake.

Your logo does not need to explain what you do.

The biggest brands in the world don’t rely on literal imagery to tell you what they sell.

They create something distinctive that you start to recognise over time.

Your logo doesn’t need to explain your business.

It needs to give people something to remember you by.

Stop designing for explanation. Start designing for recognition.

Do you really run a business if you’ve never felt this feeling before?

23/08/2026

Systems > guesswork.

Once you’ve got your logo (and everything else), you still need to know what to do with it.

Files, stationery, colours, fonts, layouts, templates.

Everything sorted so you’re not making it up on the fly.

The best brands are built with consistency over time.

DM me ‘FUTURE’ if you’re ready to look like the established tradie 👊

The last couple of months have probably been the hardest to date 😮‍💨

The start of 2026 I thought I was headed for the moon with projects coming in thick and fast.

Then reality kicked in a little bit. Work slowed down, sprinkle in a project that didn’t end the way I would’ve liked.

Mad respect to those who have nothing to fall back on, because the last couple of months have certainly shown what that feeling is like when you rely on something to support your family…

People don’t hire the business they’ve seen once.

They hire the one they remember.

Every time your ute drives past someone, sits outside a job, or pulls into the servo, you’re either building recognition… or blending into the background.

Branding is all about exposure.

The more often people see your business, the more likely they are to remember your name when they need your trade.

A blank ute gets you to the job.

A branded ute helps bring the next one.

If you feel like you brand could do with an upgrade before wrapping it all over your Ute, DM me ‘FUTURE’ and give you the brand you deserve 👊

Tradies, your reputation is built on years of hard work.

But eventually, your branding no longer reflects the business you’ve become.

This rebrand wasn’t just a new logo. It was a complete identity upgrade designed to position the business for its next chapter.

We developed a full logo suite, colour and font pairings, brand guidelines, branded stationery including business cards, letterhead and email signature for complete consistency across the entire brand.

If you’ve outgrown your branding, it’s time it reflected the reputation you’ve worked hard to build.

I reckon most of us do this without even thinking 🙃

The other week my dishwasher broke, so I Googled appliance repairs near me and started clicking through websites.

Some I stayed on, while some I left almost instantly… just because of the way their business looked.

Branding isn’t just about having a nice logo. It’s about the impression people form before you’ve had the chance to prove yourself.

And whether we like to admit it or not, we all make those snap judgements.

The crazy part?

The tradie I skipped might’ve actually been the best one for the job but I’ll never know, because they lost me before I bothered to enquire.

If you’re relying on word of mouth, referrals, or Google to bring in work, your branding isn’t just there to look good. It’s there to earn enough trust for someone to take the next step.

Don’t let your first impression be the reason you miss out on work.

If you want to know whether your brand is helping or hurting your business, DM me FUTURE and I’ll send you my free guide to future-proof your brand.

Nailed it, what do you think? 😍

One of the biggest mindset shifts I see in successful business owners is this ⬇️

They stop asking “How much does it cost?”
..and start asking “What does it cost me if I don’t?”

I completely understand why branding can feel like a big investment.

Especially if you’ve only ever paid a few hundred dollars for a logo before.

But if your business has grown, your branding needs to grow with it.

Because whether we like it or not, people make assumptions about your business long before they experience the quality of your work.

Your branding is often the first impression.

And first impressions influence who enquires, what they’re willing to pay, and whether they trust you enough to choose you over someone else.

The businesses I work with aren’t chasing a prettier logo.

They’re building a brand that reflects where their business is today, not where it was when they first started.

Branding isn’t an expense, it’s an investment in attracting better opportunities for years to come.
