📣 SHECANWORK IS RECRUITING NOW!

Are you or do you know a migrant woman in Melbourne’s north looking to enter or re-enter the Australian workforce?

SHECANWORK is an employment pathways program for migrant women who want to build confidence, understand Australian workplaces, strengthen employability skills and gain practical work experience.

This program, delivered by Enable and Sheforce, may be suitable for women who are:
✅ new to the Australian workforce
✅ returning to work after a break
✅ finding it hard to get Australian work experience
✅ looking to improve confidence applying for jobs
✅ wanting to better understand workplace expectations
✅ interested in exploring employment opportunities across different industries

Participants start with practical employability training, with eligible participants able to progress to paid work experience with Enable or an industry employer, and further support to explore employment opportunities.

We're giving retired technology a second life through our partnership with Enable & In the Click Social Enterprise.

Last financial year, Enable recycled or reused 3,588kg of our old hardware, generating over 80 hours of employment for their crew, which includes young people and adults with disabilities, and migrant community members.

Here's to keeping valuable resources out of landfill!

We’re thrilled to celebrate the successful completion of Group 2 SHETECH — a transformative employment pathways program supporting migrant women across Melbourne’s north to build confidence, skills and pathways into meaningful work.

Co-designed by Enable & In the Click Social Enterprise and Sheforce, this innovative program supported participants to gain practical experience and navigate the Australian workforce through:

✅ Employability skills focused on risk, quality, audit and safety at work, as well as an introduction to project management
✅ Paid internships for several participants
✅ Access to further opportunities with Sheforce, supporting transition into longer-term employment in adjacent industries such as building construction, civil and trades.

We’re grateful for the support of our funding partner, Bennelong Foundation, whose contribution has helped this group of women build skills, confidence and new possibilities for their future.

On International Women’s Day 2026, we’re proud to celebrate the progress we’re making to through our Shetech Employment Pathways Program.

Shetech is a transformative initiative co-designed with Sheforce Recruitment & Labour Hire to support migrant women to build employability skills, gain confidence, and access paid work experience in the tech recycling sector.
Through training, mentoring, and hands-on internships at Enable Social Enterprises, participants gain practical workplace experience while opening doors to longer-term employment opportunities across technology and related industries.

Together, we are unlocking opportunity, building confidence, and creating real pathways to employment.
