Thanks Kelly Poco People! Heaps of super important content that’s well laid out and easy to follow in this booklet. Always a pleasure working with you.

Really happy with how this little booklet for COTA (Council On The Ageing) Tasmania has worked out.

It has some good do's and don'ts for writing and speaking about, and to, older people, and also some positive stuff about ageing that should put some wind in your sails.

Best of all it is written and designed by Tasmanians, all the photos were taken locally of locals, and the production was done in Moonah (Mercury Walch did a bang-up job with the printing, on Pacesetter Extra). No AI to see here 😁

Local Tasmanian artist, Elizabeth Barsham - Tasmanian Gothic Art asked us to create prints of a selection of her mesmerising oil paintings and we were very happy to oblige!

Replicating paintings for print involves precisely capturing the original images (thank you Full Gamut) and meticulous colour matching and editing by the Mercury Walch pre-press team. Following that are many test prints to ensure that the artist can approve the colour accuracy and detail before the final print run on the HP Indigo Digital Press using 200gsm Pacesetter Satin stock from Australia.

If you'd like to see Elizabeth's artwork in person as part of the Dark M**o The Beauty group exhibition, visit Nolan Gallery and Nolan School of Art. It's running until mid-July.

If you know someone who deserves to have their own artwork skilfully turned into prints, share this with them!

HAPPY RETIREMENT, LOU!

Louise is the person at Mercury Walch that does all the little things that make such a big difference. Always there to lend a hand and look after you. Morning teas, fundraisers, company dinners, safety data sheets, safety audits, meeting people at the front desk, guiding enquiries for our business - Louise's efforts in no small part kept us all together and most importantly safe. Thank you Louise. We wish you and your family all the very best.

Now you can make all the fruit toast you want without heckling!

It was a pleasure to have Rob and Lucas from Tadpac Print visit our facility recently for a productive catch-up and tour.

As a proud Tasmanian business, we are passionate about strengthening bonds with local partners to keep printing services right here in our state. Before looking interstate or overseas for your next printing project, we encourage you to consider the benefits of working locally.

If you have any upcoming printing needs, please feel free to reach out to us at www.mercurywalch.com.au

Rob and Lucas were delighted to catch up with the team at Mercury Walch the other day.

Adam and Laura gave us an excellent tour of their facility, followed by a productive conversation about potential partnership opportunities between our two Tasmanian businesses.

We’re genuinely excited about the possibilities ahead, especially our shared commitment to encouraging Tasmanian businesses to keep printing right here in Tasmania.
