A notice to all our customers, our office and workshop is unattended this week, as we spend time visiting with family.

If you need to contact us, please call our office on 4171 0981, and leave us a message. We will be checking our messages from time to time, and will respond as we are able.

The office will be open again as normal from July 6th.

Today I had a customer call up and ask, “How’s Michael like his coffee?” ☕️ Michael was out on a job installing Starlink & his customer had to duck down town and decided to grab a coffee for Michael, so rang to ask me his preference. So very thoughtful 💕 The rest of the day it got me thinking how blessed we are to have such wonderful customers in our community. Michael often comes back to the office with fresh produce or telling me how this one or that one gave him cake, biscuits, juice etc, while on the job! It’s the little things that add to our day, like a hot cuppa on a windy day. So thank you to all our wonderful customers… today one of you made our day.

On the weekend we had the privilege of celebrating our son, Ben’s 21st birthday! As he’s into IT over in Toowoomba, a motherboard cake seemed very fitting!

Data Breach that may affect your family / child’s data.

📢 Important cyber safety update for Queensland school communities 📢

You may have seen media reports about a global cyber security incident affecting Canvas, an online learning platform used by educational institutions worldwide.

Canvas is used in Queensland state schools for staff and student training.

Current advice from the third-party provider Instructure is that names, email addresses and school locations for staff and students since 2020 may be implicated.

We have received repeated assurances that financial information and passwords are not at risk.

While investigations continue, one of the most immediate risks is likely to be phishing and scam activity using compromised contact information.

A few practical reminders for staying safe online:
📱 Be cautious of unexpected emails, text messages or phone calls requesting information or urging urgent action.
🔗 Avoid clicking suspicious links or downloading attachments unless you can verify the source.
💻 Monitor your accounts for unusual activity.
🔒 Limit sharing personal information, particularly in response to unsolicited contact.

We're continuing to work closely with cyber security authorities and the third-party provider as investigations continue.
