"What exactly is SoundWave®, and what does it do?"
I am getting this question a lot, so here is the breakdown.
As a legally blind founder, I built SoundWave® to solve a problem I live with every day: touchscreens require eyes, and standard smartwatches drain their batteries pushing heavy visual displays and complex haptics that we do not even use.
SoundWave® is a completely screen-free, zero-haptic, voice-first AI smart wristband. It acts as a dedicated audio bridge, connecting your smartphone’s AI directly to your wrist. Using open-ear acoustics and a reliable tactile button interface, you can access information, navigate your environment, or make a call without ever taking your phone out of your pocket. You keep your head up and your ears open.
We engineered this to completely eliminate sensory overload. There are no cameras on your face and no confusing vibration patterns on your wrist. This makes it a frictionless, highly effective tool not just for the blind and visually impaired, but also for neurodiverse individuals (ADHD/Dyslexia) and those with physical disabilities, like MS, who require voice-first interactions.
Under the hood, it is powered by an ultra-efficient Raytac hardware module and a 180mAh battery, ensuring a much longer lifespan between charges than any standard smartwatch on the market.
SoundWave® is priced to be immediately accessible and falls well under the NDIS Low-Cost Assistive Technology cap:
* SoundWave® Active: $250 AUD
* SoundWave® Classic: $450 AUD
This is a lived experience solution. Patent Pending (AU 2026214133).
