Something special is taking shape on the bench.

No Fuss × Noctua. Fully air-cooled. RTX 5080. Wrapped in the ASUS ProArt PA602 with the timber front panel — clean, warm, understated.

She's not finished yet. We're waiting on one last piece: a **custom copper cooling plate** we're fabricating in-house specifically for this build. No off-the-shelf compromise — if the part doesn't exist, we make it.

No RGB light show. No water in the loop. Just proper airflow engineering, premium components, and a bit of custom metalwork.

Running a 16-pin graphics card has become a scary ordeal. You will constantly be checking real-time monitoring utilities, the physical connectors, and your PC for fluctuations because 16-pin cards have a higher chance of dying due to the flimsy nature of the connector. Every day, you hear an RTX 5090 or a similar 16-pin graphics card card either burning up or dying due to an unchecked connector interface.

Many manufacturers have come forward with their own 16-pin cables to mitigate these issues.

Now, Corsair has also entered the room with its own 16-pin cable, which it calls "ThermalProtect". This is a PCIe 5.1 compliant cable based on the 12V-2x6 standard and is designed to support up to 600W power.

The 12VHPWR connector just got a full metal, liquid-cooled upgrade — integrated micro-channel cooling, nickel-plated copper alloy contacts, and built for extreme overclocking loads.
Is this overkill? Absolutely. Is it awesome? Also yes. 😅
RTX 50-series builds pushing 600W+ are making accessories like this actually make sense. We're getting close to the point where your PSU cable needs its own cooling loop 😂
