We have revised our systems to meet the new VAED requirements for 2024-25. Here's what's changing:

๐Ÿ”น "S*x" is now "S*x at Birth"
๐Ÿ”น New "Gender" field added

As per specifications for revisions to the Victorian Admitted Episodes Dataset (VAED) for 2024-25, it is required to record the patient's S*x at Birth and Gender separately. We have prepared an update to the system in line to reflect the required changes.
