New website live for Jervis Bay Wild. It had to load instantly in peak whale season, so we built it in custom HTML.

Whale season is the busiest window of their year. Traffic spikes, nearly everyone is on a phone, and a page that takes its time is a booking that goes somewhere else. A heavy CMS or page builder was never going to cut it.

So there is no page builder under this site and no theme. Every page is hand written HTML and CSS, lightweight and built for performance.

The speed then does the selling. Eight cruises, plus kayak and bike hire, private charters, weddings and conferences. The whole range opens in one panel on desktop, with a line of plain detail next to every cruise. On a phone the same structure opens full screen, and Book Now sits where your thumb already is.

Light, fast, and built for turning visitors into bookings.

Yesterday the Webics team visited the Australian Signals Directorate office in Sydney for a cyber security forum, joining the conversation on two of the most pressing challenges facing businesses today: supply chain risk and the growing influence of AI on the threat landscape.

As an ACSC (Australian Cyber Security Centre) partner, we get early warning of emerging vulnerabilities and threats. That means we can act fast, hardening our own platforms and protecting the hundreds of businesses who trust us with their digital presence.

Cyber security isn't a set and forget exercise. The threats evolve daily, and so do we. Staying connected to the ASD partner network is one of the ways we make sure our clients stay a step ahead.
