A huge restock of Black and Lime cables (including Stakkas & Straight cables) has just landed. There’s a new 120cm Right Angled length available in Black only, but more importantly, they’re the first 2 colours to introduce our new improved compact head design across all lengths! They’ll fit into the tightest of jack spaces, are much easier to pull out and they even weigh less than the OG version. We Love ‘em!

Lots of new features have been added to the Patch Planner.

There are now 5 cable types, a restyled interface with floating windows, more tools and additional key commands. You can now load multiple racks and patch between them, which can be drum machines, synths, mixers, etc. as long as they match the scale of your MG Racks. This gives the ability to plan out complete live electronic setups!

The Tendrils Patch Planner has launched:

1. Upload a picture of your rack downloaded from ModularGrid using "Show>Screenshot" or copy and paste your MG link.

2. Set the Scale in the Tool panel by clicking two points on either side of a module and input the distance in centimeters. 1HP = 0.5cm.

3. Select a cable colour and the “Draw” tool. Click and drag the crosshair to draw out a cable path. It will automatically smooth out the cable run after it has been drawn, so don’t worry if it’s a bit wobbly!

3. Use the "Edit" tool to adjust the cable shape and path. Click on a cable head to select it, then drag it to move the path, or use points along the wire to change the shape. Clicking anywhere on the wire will create a new point. Double-click on a point to remove it. Pressing Delete or Backspace when a cable is selected will delete it.

4. Once you're happy with your patch, “Save” it to .json file to open and edit it again. There’s also a "Send cables to shopping cart" button to create an order in the web store and an "Export list to text file" button to get a list of the cables used in your patch.

Key Commands:
Cmd/Ctrl + Z: Undo
Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + Z: Redo
Cmd/Ctrl + "+" (or "="): Zoom in
Cmd/Ctrl + "-": Zoom out
D: Switch to Draw tool
E: Switch to Edit tool
C: Open colour picker for the selected cable (only works with a cable selected in Edit mode)
Delete or Backspace: Delete the selected cable (Edit mode only)
Escape: Close the colour picker popup
