Country Cliff Landscapes are premium landscape architects, whom specialise in the creation of exclusive, distinctive, environmentally sustainable landscape, landscape architectural and urban design solutions. To achieve the clients goals through the website and to effectively connect and communicate with their users, it is essential to understand the users and what they want. To help with this research process; persona’s, journey mapping and usability tests were completed. From these research processes, we were able to gain a better understanding of the user and were able to design a website specifically aimed towards their target market.
The message through the web design was effectively made clear through the use of a clean, minimal design, alongside a simplistic layout. There is no shortage of negative space, as it helps to guide users downwards through the content and towards the calls to action buttons.

Colours were not only selected to just to stay ‘on-brand’ but promotes connectivity and comfortability with the brand. Much exploration was undertaken in the use of differing colour schemes that justified design choices.
Colour editing tools such as changing the HBS, was used to manipulate saturation and brightness but provided a variety of shades while still remaining on-brand and taken from the main colour swatch. Colour hierarchy was utilised to promote emphasis and contrast. Typography throughout the website remained consistent. The Department of Fire and Emergency was looking for effective ways to communicate adequate bush fire safety information to University aged students. Using the Stanford design school five step process to create alternative and innovative suggestions, we designed a unique and powerful campaign to educate the user. We used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research to gain an understanding of what the users' needs and wants are. Design thinking enables us to think outside of the box and explore avenues that may not have been.

To come up with a solution, the process began by using design thinking methods, in particular the Stanford  school design process to come up with innovative solutions. The design thinking process is often a non-linear one. Phases often seem to jump back and forth however, we will keep it as five defined stages.

To provide products that are transparent, simple to understand, well sourced and high quality. Only use products that are sustainable No parabens, artificial fragrances or colours. Clean designs that are aesthetically pleasing.

A style guide was created to ensure the correct and incorrect usage of the branding for future reference and future designs. Style guides are created to assure that all products and services align. This is important as it adds to the authenticity, aesthetics and brand recognition.

Envy + Ivy we want to create change and be a leader towards a better future. We value honesty and integrity and strive for brand loyalty. Our price point is a little above the average on the supermarket shelves, as we have to uphold the correct practices and natural, organic ingredients of the highest quality. As our price range is a little dearer, our target market is young adults.

The brand incorporates a simplistic take on all things colour, language, design and layout. We are dedicated to being honest and forward about where we stand and what he do. There are no hidden agenda’s or parabens, artificial fragrances or colours.
In terms of packaging, all items are to be recyclable or at least made from recycled products. All ingredients are organic and are Australian made. From where our ingredients are sourced, to the printing of the packaging, we consider and value every step and process to making sure that our products are of the highest quality.
