Jimmy entrusted us with the task of carefully modernising the MMI platform in his Audi A5 — a vehicle where refinement, integration and factory presentation are everything.

These systems demand far more than a universal installation approach. Preserving the integrity of Audi’s OEM architecture while introducing modern functionality requires precise integration, platform familiarity and an understanding of how these vehicles are engineered from factory.

The result is a seamless AG-CONNECT replacement display, discreetly embedded within the factory MMI environment and designed to operate as though it were a native Audi option from day one. All original MMI functions remain fully retained, including the centre console control interface, factory menus and steering wheel operation, ensuring the driving experience remains completely OEM in both appearance and behaviour.

To complement the upgrade, we integrated an Audi-specific reversing camera system with dynamic parking guidelines, carefully calibrated to function cohesively within the factory display environment while maintaining the original aesthetic throughout the vehicle.

Today, Monica made the trip to see us, having searched extensively for a solution to upgrade her BMW X5's outdated NBT system, which although groundbreaking in its time, now felt somewhat obsolete in 2026.

The shop has been absolutely flat out for a while now, and we will be the first to admit - we have slowed down on our daily posts - but we definitely haven't slowed down in-store.

Check out this stunning brand new BMW 330i that is in the workshop, where we are just wrapping up the tuning stage.

Without any compromise to the vehicles complex wiring system, we have integrated the Match 8 Channel DSP Amplifier, replaced all OEM speakers and Tweeters with Helix Ci3 equipment, and the underseat Subwoofers have received a serious upgrade with the Helix Ci5 8" Woofers, all made to fit with proprietary 3d printed adapters and vehicle specific connections.

To the naked eye, this BMW looks untouched, but we are sure the driver will be enjoying the daily use of this machine just a little bit more now...
