We were thrilled to join the First Nations students of Marble Bar Primary School for their unique STEM excursion to Coongan River Long Pool! 🌊🌿

With our guidance, these talented students piloted drones to capture their on-country exploration, blending traditional knowledge with cutting-edge technology. 🚁

Special thanks to respected elder Julie Whalebone, who enriched the excursion by passing on her traditional fishing knowledge to the students. 🎣

We're proud to support hands-on experiences that combine culture, science, and nature in such a meaningful way. Check out the mesmerizing drone footage and highlights of this unforgettable journey here πŸ‘‰ [link]

We are elated to announce that our dynamic professional learning community at Marble Bar Primary School has clinched the prestigious Best First Nations Programme in Australia award! Under the stalwart leadership of Principal Shane Wilson both in the classroom and on country as well as the dedication and hard work that has gone into our VR projects by STEM teacher George Pantazis, early childhood teacher, Natalie and all the staff at Marble bar community, our efforts over the past 3 Years have borne fruit in the most glorious way.

While we sorely missed George Pantazis & Craig Tyer on this milestone occasion, their spirit and commitment were felt deeply as we celebrated. A special shout-out to our community's pillars: Julie, Linda, and Rowan Whalebone. Marc French from Airborne IT and the fantastic duo, Tristan and Scott from Cultures of Excellence, have been instrumental in pushing our boundaries and achieving this accolade.

This win is not just a reflection of our hard work but a testament to the incredible things that can happen when industry and government collaborate for the betterment of our communities and students.

Here's to many more achievements and to the bright futures of our students!

As AirborneIT continues to grow and expand on our mission of empowering indigenous communities with information technology, we felt it was the perfect time to reimagine our visual identity β€”with engagement from our communities. As with each new adventure we embark upon, it all begins on a day where a radiant sun emerges, capturing the essence of sunrise and sunsetβ€”a testament to the awe-inspiring vistas witnessed during our journeys to these remote lands.

It represents the spirit of exploration and the mission to connect these distant communities, spearheading the gap between cultures and nurturing the spirit of collaboration. And just as the many rivers guide and nourish the land they flow through, our initiative is aimed at uplifting and empowering indigenous communities, traversing barriers, and embracing their cultural heritage.

With the power of information technology at its core, our mission seeks to bridge the past and the future, intertwining the wisdom of ancestral traditions in the digital age. We feel our new logo embodies this commitment, symbolizing the reverence for the land's natural beauty, the spirit of exploration, and the harmony of cultural heritage and technological progress.

We invite you to join us on this extraordinary journey of empowerment and transformation. Together, we can make a lasting impact, creating a future where indigenous communities thrive in the digital landscape. Let our refreshed logo be a beacon of inspiration as we forge ahead, united in our pursuit of connectivity, innovation, and the betterment of all communities.
