Weird Fix Wednesday: When Factory Reset Fails
Got called out to wipe and reset an older iMac last week — simple job, right?

Except… the System restore couldn’t connect to Apple’s servers to reinstall the OS.
Stuck. No progress. Just error messages and frustration.

🔧 A bit of terminal magic later (and a few keyboard shortcuts), we had it booting clean again with a fresh macOS install.

Sometimes it’s not about brute force — it’s knowing where to poke.
