Janaqa the photographer and his wife, Krishna the animal lover. Janaqa fell in love with photography when he picked up his father’s camera when Janaqa was 12. Even though he didn’t know it was the start of a wonderful journey packed with equal amounts of miracles, victories, challenges, and setbacks, it turned Janaqa into a diverse photographer with a major in photography from Murdoch University.
Krishna supported Janaqa by being the lighting assistant of Janaqa’s photography projects because she loves to watch Janaqa do his creative work with passion. Krishna on the other hand, is an animal person. Reflecting on each other's personalities on the 13th of October, 2023, Janaqa and Krishna got the idea to start a pet photography business. Within a few hours, they decided on a name, registered the business, purchased the website domain, and created social media pages. The idea of a pet photography business excited Janaqa and Krishna so much that they ended up going to Mullaloo Beach on the same day during the sunset and started taking photos of pets they met at the beach. And that was the beautiful start of PET IN A LENS.
