SHP's latest project is to redesign the Broken Hill Archives and Customer Service Area to become an Integrated Space. The SHP team includes award-winning architect Emma Young, Library and IT specialist Derek Whitehead, Netherlands interpretation expert Marc Kocken, tourism guru Carolyn Childs, industrial designers Lisa Sulinski and Zera Haisma who are returning to SHP for this project, Landlab landscape architects and of course Jackie Jackie and Nicola McColl. Not to mention the doggies, who made the first site visit.

A major project to digitise and display Broken Hill's history is underway.

Place of Memory conference - preliminary program

The good news is that there are still free places for ICIP members, in accordance with the agreement with Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco for the ISC ICOMOS! So please let me know if you would like to attend and I'll put you on the list.

Welcome to 2017! We hope you had a lovely break - we all took three weeks off and have come back to work feeling very refreshed. Looks like being a very busy year. We will be posting regularly but we'll start with a picture of our new HR Manager, Woofa the dog.
