A High Quality Treadmill come in for repair with No Motor Drive.
Diagnosed Fault to Shorted Power MOSFET and Diode Pack. The MOSFET is the Motor Driver on the Control Board.
Replaced Power MOSFET and Diode Pack
Applied New Silicon Heat Transfer Paste on Power MOSFET and Diode Pack.
Tested Treadmill by going on a Run on the Treadmill uphill as the treadmill tilts Upwards simulating walking uphill for 15 Minutes.
Tested all Good.

A ITALY RM500 RF Linear Amplifier come in for Repair for a Customer in N.S.W. Diagnosed fault to 4 X Popped Pills or RF Output Transistors.
Replaced 4 X Faulty RF Output Transistors set DC Biasing to Specs.
Tested RF Amplifier on Air Check the Video Out.

Found open circuit faulty left headphone speaker. Replaced speaker Listened to load music for an hour or so , all good. Very Happy Customer to head her phones back to use with PS4.

A Kenwood TS-570S H.F. Plus 6m radio come in yesterday to have a Workman Desk Power Microphone wired up to the Radio for Rob Whyte in Launy. Matched up Workman Microphone wiring to Kenwood wiring, Excellent Radio reports today from New Zealand this morning.

A 12 Volt T.V. in a Caravan come in for repair Last week , for Michael Graeme of Sisters Beach Tasmania, Michael accidently reversed the 12 Volt Power Line. Replaced a Popped Electrolytic Capacitor , 5 Volt Regulator and 2 surface mount fuses.
Ran the T.V for a Few Hours , all Good.

A 12 Volt to 240 Volt AC Inverter come in for repair for Peter and Michelle Gilroy of N.S.W. Diagnosed fault to dry solder joints around switching FETS that create 240 Volts AC , Tested Inverter with a 240 Volt light globe unit works as it should.

A High Voltage Fence Energizer used to keep sheep, cows and Animals from escaping come in for repair for Peter and Michelle Gilroy, The fault was quite obvious with a burnt out resistor as seen in the picture, Replaced Burnt out resistor, resoldered many dry solder joints on Circuit Board . Fence Energizer works as it should.
Peter and Michelle are happy as they go through quite a few of these units on there large property in New South Wales.

Don Summers of Burnie was so impressed with the repair of his BOSE ACOUSTIMASS 5 Stereo system, Don asked me to look at his Bose Sound Bar as well. The fault was intermittent Audio out of Right Speaker, I diagnosed the fault to be dry solder joints on the audio Input Connector, Resoldered all Audio Input Connectors, Tested Sound Bar on my Bench all functions as it should. Don is so Happy with my services that Don is advertising my repair services to all his friends at Better Electrical Burnie, Don stated a lot of people venture into Better Electrical with audio repairs but their is NO Technicians on the North West Coast to Repair Audio Equipment. Don also stated he wants to drop some of my business cards into better Electrical Burnie Tasmania for me. Thank You Very Much Don Summers.

A 20 year Old BOSE ACOUSTIMASS 5 SERIES 3 Speaker Stereo system come in for repair for Don Summers of Burnie, Again their are No Electronic Technicians in Burnie and Surrounds to repair Home Stereo Systems. As seen in the Pic a Limiting Resistor had burnt out damaging the circuit board. The 240 Volt turn on line to the Amplifier is controlled by a TRIAC with a signal form the control centre Head to turn on the TRIAC and turn the Amplifier on. This part of the circuit is severely damaged. I modified and bypassed the TRIAC Turn on circuit , so now the Amplifier is able to turn on without the control head and the Amplifier can now be used with any brand of audio equipment. Don of Burnie is Very Happy as he bought this Amplifier for his wife as a Birthday Present and had Sentimental Value.
