Chapter Five of my short film, The Falcon’s Redemption, is here.
Last chapter, Raphael rediscovered something he thought he had lost forever—his love for football.
But that little tournament behind a church was about to lead somewhere he never expected...
Italy. 🇮🇹
After the final match, a mysterious Italian scout named Vittorio Mancini approaches Raphael with a simple question:
“You have the talent—but do you have the will?”
Apparently, even a Sunday football tournament isn’t safe from scouts. 😂⚽
Vittorio offers Raphael an opportunity to train at an academy in Tuscany led by legendary Italian footballer Roberto Baggio.
Two weeks later, Raphael is standing beneath the Italian sun, surrounded by football pitches and the rolling hills of Tuscany.
But this time, football isn’t about becoming famous.
Baggio sees beyond Raphael’s ability. He challenges his attitude, discipline, anger and excuses, forcing him to finally confront the person responsible for many of his failures...
Himself.
No blaming coaches. No blaming football. No blaming bad luck.
And unfortunately, there’s no VAR available to overturn your life decisions. 😂
Through relentless training and some painful lessons, Raphael begins to understand that redemption isn’t about changing the past—it’s about changing yourself.
🎬 A quick disclaimer...
This story is inspired by real-life experiences, but it’s not an autobiography. Names have been changed... sort of. 😏 Some characters, events and timelines have been dramatised, but I’ve tried to keep the heart and emotions as real as possible.
🎵 The background music is original music created by RaffaeleByDesign, composed specifically for this chapter.
Chapter Five: Redemption’s Spark
Sometimes a second chance doesn’t arrive to prove everyone else wrong.
It arrives so you can finally prove something to yourself.
