In our latest walkthrough, Luke demonstrates Geotab's Trip History with FleetView by transiCAM integrated directly into the same screen.

Using the IVA Raptor’s return journey from Melbourne through Sydney to Newcastle, he shows how easily a fleet manager can explore:

📋 The journey - start and stop locations, times, addresses and distance for each trip section.

📍 The context - a mapped route with event markers and hover details, including driver, speed, date and time.

🎥 The footage - select a video event and review the associated camera footage in the FleetView panel beside the map.

That means less time piecing information together and a faster path to understanding an event.

What if preparing for a driver coaching session started with a simple question on your phone?

In this demonstration, we connected Claude to our Exceed ICT - https://exceedict.com/ Geotab instance using an MCP connector and asked it to review a vehicle’s journey and prepare an insights summary for a coaching session.

Claude retrieved and reviewed the relevant fleet data, then returned a clear summary - without Luke having to select, run and interpret traditional reports.

It also spotted a detail in the request: the dates were incorrect.

The Raptor’s journey to Sydney, the first leg of its trip to Comms Connect, took place on 10-11 October rather than the 9-10 October stated in the question. Claude identified that discrepancy in its response.

It’s a practical example of how conversational AI can make fleet information more accessible to the people making operational decisions.

A question in everyday language. Fleet data brought into context. A useful starting point for a better coaching conversation.
