The global IT outage that hit around 3PM Friday afternoon continues to cause challenges for many businesses.

Be assured that this does not appear to be a cyber attack of any kind, this is a software update from a 3rd Party Security Provider affecting Windows Computers running this software (Crowd Strike).

Wyntec customer systems are not directly affected by this as we do use the 3rd Party tool as part of our services. We do understand that some of your cloud platforms are affected.

Keep in contact with the Wybtec team and we can provide updates as we get them for any platforms that are having issues.

1. Check email addresses: watch for misspellings or unusual characters.
2. Beware generic greetings: ‘Dear Customer’ + urgent actions = phishing!
3. Verify contact info: if unsure, start a new email to respond.
4. No sensitive info via email: Use phone calls for private details.
