This week, our Production Manager, Jim Nickolas, took the opportunity to head interstate to the Fine Food Australia National Expo in Melbourne.
The ultimate industry showcase, Fine Food Australia is the nation's leading trade event for the food industry.
Armed with a good pair of walking shoes and his wealth of print knowledge, Jim toured more than 900 exhibitors alongside 25,000 visitors, reconnecting with many of OBH's South Australian and Victorian food and beverage clients.
Highlights throughout the week included live masterclasses, tailored presentations, guided tours, workshops, awards, and cooking challenges, just some of the many events taking place across the expo.
Jim met with food service and hospitality professionals who had gathered to discover the products, suppliers, and ideas that help move their businesses forward. He explored new products, met innovators, compared solutions, and listened to client needs to gain insights into what businesses are looking for in the year ahead.

Recently, the OBH Print team had the pleasure of attending the Adelaide University W**e Label Launch, celebrating the release of the new vintage featuring refreshed labels created to reflect the University’s recent merger.
The evening showcased the passion and expertise behind the University’s w**e program, with Professor Paul Grbin sharing how proceeds from every bottle sold are
reinvested into w**e education and research at the Waite Campus’s School of Agriculture.
Guests enjoyed tasting the new range before joining an insightful tour of the w**ery and distillery, led by Jill Bauer, who shared the craftsmanship and innovation behind the University’s w**e and spirits production.
OBH Print is proud to partner with Adelaide University on the production of their premium w**e labels and we’re excited to continue supporting the team as they prepare to launch their upcoming spirit’s range.

We’re proud to support Cabra Dominican College as they celebrate 140 years of history, community and future generations.
Having worked alongside Cabra over many years, we’ve seen firsthand the strength of their community and the care they place in honouring their story. It’s something we deeply respect and are grateful to support in a small way through this initiative.

This special campaign will bring two meaningful projects to life, the St Dominic statue and the History Wall, honouring Cabra’s past while inspiring what’s to come.

We love opening our doors and sharing what we do.
Last week, we were delighted to welcome students from Edwardstown Primary School
to our St Marys facility for a behind the scenes look at the world of print.
From start to finish, the students followed the full print journey through our warehouse, discovering fun facts along the way, learning a little about our history, and seeing our printing and finishing machines in action.
It was especially exciting to show them where their school diaries and yearbooks come to life, and how they’re carefully prepared for delivery back to their school.
We love opening our doors to curious young minds and sharing what we do, because there’s nothing quite like seeing print up close!
