Another Colour takes on City2Surf! 🏃💨

Earlier this year, we lost our dear friend and colleague Caitlin. She was generous, inspiring and incredibly easy to talk to. We each had a special friendship with her and we miss her deeply.

In her honour, the team at Another Colour are lacing up our running shoes 👟 and taking on Heartbreak Hill ⛰️ and all 14km of City2Surf to raise money for Convoy of Hope Australia, a charity Caitlin advocated for.
Caitlin was passionate about fashion 👢, women’s causes and the power of helping people 🤝. One of Convoy of Hope’s initiatives, especially close to Caitlin’s heart, was Dress Her with Dignity, a program supporting survivors of domestic violence.

This program provides new clothing, underwear and hygiene products to women leaving hospital after experiencing domestic violence, helping them take the next step towards freedom with dignity rather than in a hospital gown.

Caitlin had a special way of making people feel seen and cared for. We want to honour her by supporting a cause she cared about, even if we’re not exactly known for our elite athleticism!

We can’t promise to run the whole thing. We can’t promise it will be pretty. 💦 But we can promise we’ll cross the finish line, one way or another 🏁, because a morning (or two!) with sore muscles is a small price to pay for this big cause.

Our goal is to raise at least $1,600, which would help dress 20 women when they need it most. Every donation, big or small, is genuinely appreciated. Convoy of Hope Australia is a registered charity and donations of $2 and more are tax-deductible.

Thank you for supporting this moment of collective chaos. Your support will help Convoy of Hope Australia continue this important work and help us honour Caitlin’s memory. 🤍
