Recently the HMT published a draft legislation to bring BNPL into the regulatory perimeter. Whilst the rules are unlikely to be finalised until well into 2024, one might be wondering how this news affects Atpay?

Well quite simply, Atpay had already preempted these regulations coming into play, and many of the measures announced have already been built into the framework.
Unlike popular BNPL platforms, Atpay has always maintained a strict KYC, compulsory credit check and KYB process for all user registrations. Atpay's strength lies in this point of difference from its competitors.
