Hiring an overseas worker in Australia often requires the employing organisation holding a Standard Business Sponsorship. The On Hire Labour Agreement (OHLA) permits a company to avoid the SBS while still gaining access to the 482 Visa programme.

The Department of Home Affairs has given GOSOL an OHLA (On-Hire Labour Agreement), which allows us to sponsor overseas skilled workers on the Subclass 482 visa and on-hire them to enterprises. It enables us to sponsor skilled people in occupations on the applicable lists and then on-hire them to a third party company that was unable to sponsor the skilled person directly. It entails being permitted to act as a surrogate sponsor on behalf of any unconnected company.

We also collaborate with recruitment firms to assist you in providing workforce solutions to your clients. We do not require a commercial or ongoing contract with these clients.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Medical Practitioner to join one of the Family Medical Centres in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. The General Medical Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary medical care to patients, diagnosing and treating various illnesses and injuries, and promoting overall health and wellness.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive medical consultations to assess patients' health conditions and concerns.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their medical history, symptoms, and examination findings.
Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and preventive measures.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging, and laboratory tests.
Provide patient education regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Monitor and track patients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Stay updated with medical advancements, research, and best practices through continuing education.
Must-Have RACGP Certificate

Requirements:

Medical degree from a recognized institution.
Valid medical license and registration to practice as a General Medical Practitioner.
Proven experience as a General Medical Practitioner or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of general medicine, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
Strong clinical skills and ability to handle a wide range of medical conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant medical software.
