Visual Identity for Tripp Studio .au

I had the pleasure of working with Moira on her branding essentials for her Architectural and Interior Design Firm - Tripp Studio - which delivers luxury homes across Sydney.

We created a visual identity that’s elegant, sophisticated, feels understated but characterful with a feminine touch.

Visual Identity, illustrations and Packaging Design for centred around connection, community, and fun.

CHATLEY crafts premium tea blends with bold, unforgettable flavours that are begging to be shared. Donating part of their profits to the Belong Center, CHATLEY is on a mission to do their part in fighting the loneliness epidemic. We created quirky illustration full of personality pared with bold colours, shapes, and type to inspire people to enjoy their cup the way tea was meant to be enjoyed; together.

Branding for .art.design - a custom bridal couturier based in Nice, on the French Riviera.

Lennart and I worked on his branding essentials including a logo suite, monogram, and pattern design. Before embarking on his career in bridal couture, he spent 17 years as a professional ballet dancer. We wanted to echo the influence of movement and dance in his branding as well as create a warm and lushly romantic style. The peonies in his logo consist of flowing stems and leaves to create movement. The monogram hints at flowing silk dancing in the air.

Logo design for

Oralei is a Naturopathy Practice focused on the health and wellbeing of the modern woman.
Founder Laura wanted to far away from the predictable flowery, girly vibes of many fellow practitioners and was looking for a visual identity that feels free, confident, sleek, conscious and unique.

We chose a direction that makes a bold statement with its forms and colours, reflects movement and flux with its swirling lines, while simultaneously hinting at focus with the use of geometric outlines.

Now offerings Squarespace design services!

I’ve worked with WordPress for years and love how versatile it is. But there is a learning curve for business owners and I’ve found many clients found the process intimidating. Enter Squarespace! A one-and-done product that will handle the needs of most service-based small businesses. Let’s talk about some key differences between the two platforms to help you choose the right one for you.

▫️User-friendliness - WordPress’s strength never was the intuitiveness of their backend and they haven’t updated the interface in years. Squarespace is much easier to learn and navigate as a business owner who already has their plate full.
▫️Flexibility- WordPress is by far the winner when it comes to flexibility. There’s a plug-in for almost anything and new ones are created daily. Squarespace has less flexibility but does carry the key functions most businesses need.
▫️Maintenance - WordPress is known for its endless updates. Since most plugins and themes are created by third parties, each update carries a risk of conflicting code and breaking your site. There are also many choices to be made. At a minimum you need to sort out hosting and email. Security and backup systems come next along with many other decisions.
Squarespace takes care of all those things for you. And if something does break, they have their own dedicated support.
▫️Even though over 40% of websites use WordPress (Google says 😅), there’s no denying Squarespace is everywhere these days. Many small businesses flock to Squarespace for the ease of use so they have more time to focus on your business.

Do you use WordPress or Squarespace? I’d love to hear your experience in the comments below.

Luoda Collective is an event and set design company created by two best friends who merged their talents to shake up the industry. The aim was to create a brand that’s romantic, creative, experimental, elaborate, adaptable, beautiful, and above all; memorable.

The brandmark uses the L from the wordmark mirrored and slightly overlapped. They represent two partners - two pillars - coming together. They hold each up, make each other stronger, and create a gateway to new possibilities. The overlapping CO (the first letters from Collective) represents collaboration.

Exhibition design for the Boat Builders of Australia display during the 2023 Australian Wooden Boat Festival.

Sponsored by the Australian National Maritime Museum, the exhibition highlights a small selection of the many boat builders and designers in Australia. The focus was on the beautifully crafted vessels on display during the festival.

I had the honor to be responsible for the graphic design of the information panels, boards, and signs.

The age of the vessels in the exhibit varied from over 100 years old to relatively new. We chose to highlight this by creating a modern interpretation of traditional design. Fonts from different eras were put together, giving a sense of the time passed between creation of the different vessels. The background uses halftone patterns from days before digital printing. The double border gives a nod to the style of a bygone era.

Baseline Matcha is a fictional health and lifestyle brand. The clean and minimal branding, taking inspiration from Kyoto gardens and Tokyo coffee shops, will appeal to both seasoned matcha devotees as well as coffee drinkers looking to change things up.
