Why have you chosen to work at CommuniCloud?
Having led customer service teams supporting Fortune 500/ASX customers across the Asia Pacific and Europe with virtual conferencing events and helpdesk support in multiple languages, I joined CommuniCloud with a shared passion for exceptional customer service. I have a well-rounded breadth of knowledge in the collaborations and UC industry, and I am committed to ensuring customers enjoy the best possible experience.
Usually, at what moment do discover obstacles for businesses and their approach to cyber security?
Having come from a collaboration background, I have found learning about cyber security insightful and often discover a distinct gap in what a business IT and collaboration team can manage in-house. Frequently, I discover a major business obstacle is the misunderstanding that you can add cyber security as an additional portfolio to the IT and Collaboration team. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
What are the biggest challenges faced by most of your clients?
Clients are not alerted to the breach at the time of the attack. Very often, data breaches go unnoticed for months. Clients are not aware of the attack when it’s happening, so it is impossible to protect themselves and even their customers.
What is the greatest piece of advice you can give to clients around Cyber Security?
1. Use Strong Passwords & Use a Password Management Tool. At work and home!
2. Use Two-Factor or Multi-Factor Authentication.
3. Learn about Phishing Scams – be very suspicious of emails, phone calls, and flyers. 4. Most of all, please be careful and think before you click.
