Our well-established AV business is looking for an Assistant AV Installer. The ideal candidate will be someone who is interested in the AV field and keen to learn more about the growing industry. This is a casual entry-level position with plenty of on the job training and professional development opportunities. For more information about our company, please visit www.mrav.com.au.

Required skills:

- Have an interest and understanding in electronics, specifically in the audio-visual field
- Able to work with tools and take measurements
- Be able to follow instructions quickly and meticulously
- Be able to assist in lifting medium loads and occasionally some heavy loads

In order to be successful in the role, you must possess the following:

- A NSW driver’s licence
- A proactive personality
- Comfortable in dealing with customers face to face
- Able to work on a deadline and have excellent time management skills
- A hunger to learn and the ability to learn quickly
- A passion for the industry
- Attention to detail and an ability to think on your feet
- A positive attitude and a great smile 😊

Availability:

This is a casual role and you will be offered working days as required. You will work alongside one of our Senior Installers between Monday-Friday. Hours of work range from 6am to 6pm.

Proudly presenting The Star Lounge, a completely custom home cinema build for an absolutely lovely family in the Hills District, Sydney. From concept design to construction and programming, Mr.AV has worked closely with the our client to deliver a result that was completely tailored to their requirements.

This project involved building new walls to enclose an usused living space as well as fabrication of the feature wall and ceiling with integrated LED lighting. All the high end audio, video and lighting was tied together with a customised automation system for iPad control of all features of the room.
