⏰ CHSP providers — the 30 June 2026 DEX deadline is real and monitored.

Since 1 January 2026, recording My Aged Care IDs (MAC IDs) for all clients in DEX has been a legal requirement under the Aged Care Act 2024. The Department of Health is already reviewing submitted data for compliance.

From 30 June, DEX will enforce MAC ID recording at the system level — no MAC ID, no submission.

If your system isn't configured yet, now is the time to act.

We've put together a guide covering:
→ What happens if a client doesn't have a MAC ID by 30 June
→ What to do if a client has no My Aged Care ID at all
→ Whether you need the DEX Staging Environment for Stage 3

Eid al-Adha Mubarak to everyone celebrating! 🌙🤲

Eid al-Adha — the Feast of Sacrifice — is a beautiful reminder of faith, devotion, and the strength found in community. It's a time for family, generosity, and gratitude.

To all the providers, carers, and team members in our community who are celebrating: we hope you get to rest, connect with the people you love, and enjoy every moment of the festivities.

Wishing you a joyful and blessed Eid. 💛

We know there's always another compliance change to keep up with — but if you deliver CHSP services, this one's worth 60 seconds of your time.

Since 1 January 2026, recording your clients' My Aged Care IDs (MAC IDs) in DEX has been a legal requirement under the Aged Care Act 2024. The Department is already monitoring monthly.

From 30 June 2026, DEX enforces it at the system level. No MAC ID, no submission. No submission, no payment.

That's payments your organisation shouldn't have to chase.

Here's what to do before the deadline:

→ Audit your client list for missing MAC IDs
→ Record them in DEX before 30 June
→ Confirm your software includes MAC IDs in every submission

We've put together a full guide covering what's changed, what to action first, and what's coming next with Stage 3 DEX changes in August.

Important update for CHSP providers!

Recording your clients' My Aged Care IDs (MAC IDs) in the Data Exchange (DEX) has been mandatory since 1 January 2026 under the Aged Care Act 2024.

Compliance is already being monitored in monthly DEX submissions — and from 30 June 2026, the system will enforce it with no exceptions.

Is your client data and IT system ready? Don't wait. ✅

If you deliver NDIS services, this one's worth 60 seconds of your time.

Since 8 April 2026, the NDIA can request evidence before paying a claim. You have 14 days to respond — or the payment doesn't go through.

It's not just the invoice. They want the full chain: service agreement, roster record, progress note, claim details, and proof the worker was screened on the specific date they delivered the service.

Most providers have all of this somewhere. The problem is it's scattered — and 14 days goes fast when you're pulling records from three different systems.

Here's what to do before a request lands:
→ Connect every claim to a progress note and a rostered appointment
→ Raise the bar on progress note quality — "support provided as per plan" isn't evidence
→ Track worker screening dates, not just current status
→ Run the 10-claim test: pick 10 random claims from last month and see if you can pull all 5 pieces of evidence for each one

We've put together a full guide covering what the NDIA will ask for, where providers get caught out, and 5 steps to get your evidence trail ready.

The NDIS Integrity and Safeguarding Bill is now law. 📋

Since 8 April 2026, providers are operating under new rules — and some of them carry serious consequences if you're not prepared.

Here's what changed:

→ Civil penalties for serious breaches jumped from $412,500 to over $15 million
→ Delivering unregistered supports is now a criminal offence (up to 5 years imprisonment)
→ Banning orders now cover your auditors, consultants, and business advisors
→ The NDIA can now request evidence before paying a claim — you have 14 days to respond
→ Anti-promotion orders give the Commissioner new powers to stop misleading NDIS advertising

We've broken down all 10 key changes in plain language — no legal jargon, just what it means for your organisation and what to do about it.

Today we pause to remember. 🌿

Anzac Day is a moment that connects us all — across generations, across borders, across stories both told and untold. It's a day to honour the courage of those who served, and to hold close the communities built in their wake.

To everyone remembering a loved one today, standing at a dawn service, or simply taking a quiet moment — we stand with you.

Lest we forget. 🌺

Big news for NDIS providers this week.

Health Minister Mark Butler has announced the most significant NDIS overhaul since the scheme launched — and it affects every provider in Australia.

Here's what's changing:

→ Digital payments becoming mandatory — full traceability required from service delivery to claim
→ Mandatory registration expanding to personal care, daily living, and closed settings
→ Average plan funding dropping from ~$31,000 to ~$26,000
→ Participant numbers targeted at 600,000 by 2030

We've put together a full breakdown of what's changing, what it means for your organisation, and what you can do right now to prepare.
