PSA re: health fund banking details
At the end of last week we had one of our clients forward an email from their association about HCF receiving potentially fraudulent emails requesting that a doctor's bank account be changed.
Today we were contacted by HCF (which we double checked was a legitimate call) about this very thing. Someone had lodged a form to change one of our doctor's bank account!
We would recommend that everyone keep an eye on their bank accounts to ensure that you are receiving the health fund payments you are expecting. It is also a great time to ensure that your contact details are up to date with the health funds to ensure that you receive all correspondence that needs to be sent to you.
