🎯 Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Visual Designer or Art Director
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality work
- Expertise in visual design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma
- Experience in creating designs for various digital platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and web-apps
- Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and solutions to clients and team members
- Experience working in an agile/scrum design/development process is a plus
- Illustration skills and the ability to use Adobe After Effects are nice-to-have skills

It comprises seven components: Useful, Usable, Desirable, Findable, Accessible, Credible, and Valuable. Let's explore these components using the example of an e-commerce website for eco-friendly products.

1️⃣ Useful
An e-commerce site for eco-friendly products serves the useful purpose of providing consumers with sustainable alternatives to everyday items. By catering to a growing need for environmental conservation, the site addresses a real problem—making sustainable shopping easier and more accessible.

2️⃣ Usable

🌟 15 CHAR FOR EFFECTIVE DATA VISUALIZATION (PART 2)

8. ROUND – PIE CHART
A pie chart is divided into sectors, the arc length of each sector is proportional to the quantity it represents.

Pie charts are very widely used. However, many experts recommend avoiding them, as it is difficult to compare different sections of a given pie chart or to compare data across different pie charts.

This chart could be used for Comparison, Part to a whole

9. ROUND–GAUGE CHART
A gauge chart uses a radial scale to display a specific data point using a dial over a radial scale with defined limits. Colors can be associated with the sections of the data to indicate categories for values.

This chart could be used for Part to a whole

10. AREA – STACKED AREA CHART
A stacked Area Chart is plotted in the form of several area series stacked on top of one another. The height of each series is determined by the value in each data point.

A typical use case for Stacked Area Charts is analyzing how each of several variables and their totals vary, on the same graphic.

This chart could be used for Part to a whole, Comparison, Trend

11. PLOT – SCATTER PLOT
In Scatter plot, data is displayed as a collection of points, each having the value of one variable determining the position on the horizontal axis and the value of the other variable determining the position on the vertical axis.

12. PLOT – BUBBLE CHART
A bubble chart is a type of chart that displays three dimensions of data. Each bubble has the value of one variable determining the position on the horizontal axis, the value of the other variable determining the position on the vertical axis, and the third through its size.

13. PLOT – BOX PLOT
A box plot is a common graph used in descriptive statistics. A box plot displays the median, higher/lower quartiles, and maximum/minimum. Outliers may be plotted as individual points. The spacings between the different parts of the box indicate the degree of spread and skewness in the data and show outliers. Box plots can be drawn either horizontally or vertically.

14. TABLE – TREEMAP
Treemap displays hierarchical (tree-structured) data in the form of nested rectangles. Each branch of the tree is given a rectangle, which is then tiled with smaller rectangles representing sub-branches, or leaves. Each leaf node has an area proportional to a specified dimension on the data. Often the leaf nodes are colored to show a separate dimension of the data.

A heatmap is a data table with rows and columns denoting different sets of categories. Each cell in the table can contain a numerical value that determines the cell color based on a given color palette.
