When it comes to selling, most people focus on the features of whatever it is they're trying to sell. But what they should really be focusing on is the outcome. After all, people don't buy things because of the features - they buy things because of the results or benefits those features provide. And that's what you should be selling. Here's the number one reason why:

1. Nobody cares about the features. What people want are the outcomes associated with the features - being able to reach a certain goal, feel a certain way, etc.

For example:
1. Nike doesn't just sell shoes - they sell the dream of becoming a professional athlete.
2. Lululemon doesn't just sell yoga pants - they sell the promise of a fit and healthy lifestyle.
3. Apple doesn't just sell laptops - they sell the idea of being part of an exclusive, trend-setting community.

So next time you're trying to sell something, don't get bogged down in the details of the features - focus on the outcome instead.

1. Start with a great product or service that meets a real need.
When you start with a great product or service, you're already off to a good start. Make sure that whatever you offer meets a real need and solves a real problem.

2. Create a compelling brand story that resonates with your target audience.
Your brand story is what will set you apart from the competition and resonate with your target audience. Make sure it's compelling and speaks to the needs of your target market.

3. Design an attractive and consistent visual identity.
Your visual identity is essential for creating a strong first impression. Make sure it's something that appeals to your ideal client and is consistent across all of your marketing materials.

4. Develop an engaging marketing strategy based on quality content.
Quality content is key for engaging your target audience and drawing them in. Make sure your marketing strategy is based on well-written and well-thought-out content.

5. Deliver an outstanding customer experience.
The best way to keep customers coming back is to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time. Make sure you go above and beyond expectations and provide excellent customer service. Remember that "brand" is to your company what "reputation" is to you as a person!

. Provide genuine value. Think of what you can give instead of what you can get.
Only do for the other person what you want somebody else to do for you.

2. Ask the right questions.
Selling is all about getting to know the person that you're engaging with and learning what problems they are facing, what motivates them and how you could help them overcome any obstacles they are facing.

These questions can sound like:
1. "What's your biggest challenge when it comes to _____?"
2. "What goals have you set for yourself in the next _____ months/year?"
3. "How do you currently solve the problem of _____?"
4. "How important is it to you to find a solution to the problem of _____?"
5. "What are your thoughts on this possible solution to the problem of _____?"

3. Empathize
Understand what makes your client tick and what pains they are facing. When you empathize with your client, it makes them feel heard and understood. This is key to establishing a strong relationship.

This can sound like:

1."I feel you, I've been there."
2. "I understand what you're saying."
3. "I understand how you feel."

When you empathize with your client, it makes them feel heard and understood. This is key to establishing a strong relationship with them. When your client feels like you understand them, they are more likely to be willing to work with you and even refer you to their friends and family.

4. Summarize
Ask questions like "Did I understand this correctly?" and "Did I catch that right?"
This will assure your clients that you are actually listening + they will clarify if you misunderstood something. This helps both of you get on the same page a build rapport.

1. Clarity gives you a sense of direction. When you are clear about your goals, it is easier to make decisions that will help you achieve them.

2. Clarity helps you focus on what's important. When you know what you want, you can focus your time and energy on the things that matter most to you.

3. Clarity allows you to see the big picture. When you have a clear idea of your goals, it is easier to understand how each individual decision will impact your overall success.

4. Clarity makes it easier to make decisions. When you are clear about what you want, it is easier to choose the path that will lead you there.

5. Clarity brings peace of mind. Knowing what you want and being clear about your goals allows you to relax and enjoy the journey, without worrying about whether or not you are on the right track.

So if you're feeling lost or stuck, remember that clarity is the key to moving forward. Grow your business with intention and make things happen with focus and dedication!

Content Ideas That You Can Post Next Week and Get More Engagement.

1. Write about your personal struggle.
2. Share a motivational quote.
3. Stop doing "X", do "Y" instead
4. Share a tip or a step-by-step tutorial
5. Ask questions from your audience
6. Share industry statistics
7.Post 3 mistakes people are making and what to do instead

1. By sharing personal struggles, you create a more relatable and human connection with your followers. This can help encourage them to reach out and share their own stories, creating a community feel.
2. Motivational quotes are popular on social media for a reason - they're highly shareable! Aspirational content does really good on Instagram!
3. Swapping old habits for new ones is always a popular topic - just make sure you know your audience's main pain points.
4. Tips and tutorials are often the type of content that gets the highest engagement. These types of posts take time to craft, but when you get it right (meaning actually create a tutorial that helps solve a specific issue your audience is facing) then the engagement ou get is well worth it!
5. Asking questions is a great way to engage with followers and get them thinking. Plus these types of posts are really easy to make!
6. Industry statistics can be helpful for boosting your credibility as an expert in your field. Often these types of posts are a great conversation starter (bonus tip! Tag other accounts in your niche to start a discussion)
7. Sharing mistakes that people in your industry/niche are making is a great way to boost engagement. In addition, this helps you establish yourself as a thought leader and someone who knows what they're talking about!

Which cycle are you on?
Unfortunately, a lot of people feel like they're stuck in the rat race. They quit their job to become a freelancer or business owner, but end up overworking and frustrated. If that's you, stop undermining yourself by charging too little for your services!

Instead, accept only projects that you feel you are getting paid enough for your contribution!
Sounds scary? If it does, challenge yourself for one month to do exactly that and see what happens! Remember, growth happens outside our comfort zone!
