Police Operation Underway Following Pursuit in Yetman🚨

A police operation is underway in the Dthinna Dthinnawan Nature Reserve off Holdfast Road, Twin Rivers.

Officers attached to New England Police District are on scene after a police vehicle was rammed following a pursuit in Yetman, about 2.15pm today (Thursday 6 August 2026).

The male driver is believed to have run into bushland.

The driver is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, medium build and unshaven face.

Police are urging the community to keep a look out; however, not to approach the man and call Triple zero (000) immediately.
