A PROPOSITION TO THE COMMUNITY:
Good morning, Brisvegas,
In 2015, we gave away over 30 computers to local disadvantaged families or those without the means to purchase a computer for the purposes of school work, job seeking etc.
These computers were built largely on the parts that came as donations from people in the community just like you.
To make a very long story short, I want your old broken computers.
I don't care how old or how broken, almost everything can be used for something. In most cases, I'll be able to pick up any items or broken systems you have but we are located in Scarborough if you're feeling particularly generous and would like to drop something off to us.
People tend to leave their dodgy, old or broken computers and monitors in the cupboard until they are no good to anybody. Here is a great opportunity to make a donation that has the potential to make a huge difference to the life of a local disadvantaged family.
I'm more than happy to donate as much of my time as required and I already have a decent start with regard to spare parts, I just need some old computers to work with.
If you know a person or family who may benefit from a computer at no cost to them, please message me with some details and I will add them to the list.
