🏗️ Collaboration Spotlight: Connected Farms — Private LTE Deployment

Great things happen when preparation meets expertise. On this project, the team at Connected Farms brought exceptional organisation to the table, supplying almost all the required equipment — right down to the face mount bracket.

Our role was to bring the specialised tower climbing and rigging skills needed to get the job done safely and efficiently.

🔧 Field Update: 1.8m 6GHz Microwave Dish Replacement — Ericsson / NBN

Our team recently completed a critical microwave link repair for Ericsson on behalf of NBN, restoring reliability to a key backhaul connection.

The issue: A damaged radome cover was causing intermittent signal degradation on a 1.8m 6GHz dish link.

The fix:
✅ Safely replaced and precision-aligned the dish for optimal signal path
✅ Installed rigid 50mm conduit across the entire cable run — a proactive measure to prevent bird strike damage going forward
✅ Hauled and terminated new cabling, including 4x LDF1-50 coax, connectors, and surge arrestors

The result: Measurable improvements in SNIR and XPIC values — translating to a more stable, higher-performing link for the network.

This job is a great example of how a proactive approach to infrastructure (not just fixing the fault, but hardening the install against future risk) pays off in long-term network reliability.

At Adaptive RF Solutions, we’re known for delivering high-quality antenna installations, precision cabling, and optimising RF performance—but sometimes the job calls for stepping outside the usual scope.

Recently, our team took on a project at the base of a telecommunications tower that focused on building the supporting infrastructure behind the scenes.

This included installing cable tray systems and poles, running the tray across to a new telecommunications hut, and installing 35mm² earthing to ensure proper grounding and system safety—laying the groundwork that keeps critical networks running smoothly.

It’s a great reminder that strong RF performance doesn’t just happen at the top of the tower. It starts from the ground up with solid, reliable infrastructure.

Another successful deployment!

Delivered for City of Wagga Wagga this install supports a newly upgraded oval with reliable connectivity.

We installed a heavy-duty galvanised light pole mount with a Ubiquiti Inc Rocket Prism 5AC and high-gain dish, along with surge protection, an IP-rated enclosure, media converter, and fibre integration.

The site now supports CCTV, access control, and public WiFi.
