Imunify360 whitelist issues show why vendor-managed security allowlists need stronger auditability.

Imunify360 is widely used across Linux hosting, WHM and cPanel environments, so stale whitelist data can have a real impact when it overrides local firewall decisions. If an IP is trusted by default, server admins should be able to see why it is trusted, where that trust came from, when it was last reviewed and whether it still makes sense.

The security issue has now been resolved, after decades of misalignment.

As part of our ongoing infrastructure upgrade program, Rubix Studios will be performing scheduled maintenance on 2 February 2026 between 8.00 pm and 11.00 pm.

This maintenance supports our transition to a more resilient and diversified server architecture. Over recent months, new infrastructure has been provisioned and validated through security assessments, performance testing, and uptime verification.

During the maintenance window, the following services will be temporarily unavailable.
- Rubix Studios website.
- Workflow orchestration services
- Email API platform
- Social media management tools
- Scheduling platform
- SaaS management services
- Container deployment services
- DevOps infrastructure

Maintenance activities include hardware upgrades to our physical server located in our Sydney data centre.

No client accounts are hosted on the affected systems. Email delivery will continue to operate normally. Rubix Host will remain online with uninterrupted access to billing and server management.

We've narrowed down the source of the issue that has caused Microsoft to trigger its spam register.

We are working closely to get all services repaired.

There have been a number of accounts closed with instant termination. Spam and phishing is against the Australian Spam Act.

Our servers and services are located in Australia.

These services have now been closed and terminated without notice, effective immediately. This has been evaluated on a case by case basis.

We are still investigating and are currently waiting on contact from Microsoft to continue to diagnose this issue.

We thank you for your patience and will provide further updates as they come.

We are getting reports of emails being sent from our hosting servers that are being delivered to Microsoft 365 users and are being filtered into their spam folders.

At this time, our investigations have not found any reason to believe this is being caused by our systems at this time.

Our Senior Infrastructure Administrators are still investigating and are reaching out to Microsoft for further information.

After listening to all the feedback.

It's time for Rubix Host to do some upgrades on our own web hosting, emails and domains website.

We're giving it a revamp that's a 3-phase process, however, we're only going to be down for only a very short period as well understand how important it is to make our services and platform readily available.

We'll be doing some major upgrades to the website design and structure to make using our website much easier to navigate and access.

(We're going to be doing the upgrades during the middle of the night when most people should be asleep)
