Google and AI search systems do not rely on one source to understand your business.
They look across your website, Google Business Profile, social media, reviews, directories, YouTube, local media and other third-party mentions.
The more current and consistent those signals are, the easier it is to understand what you do, where you work and whether your business is still active.
That does not mean posting every day.
It means keeping your details accurate, showing recent work, collecting reviews and making sure your business tells the same story everywhere.
A website and Google Business Profile are a good start.
Leaving them untouched for years is not.
