Why we chose React for this project (and why we didn't use WordPress)
A client recently asked us a simple question:
"Why not just build it in WordPress?"
It's a fair question.
WordPress is an excellent choice for many websites, especially when the goal is to manage content quickly and cost-effectively.
But this project wasn't just a website.
It included custom user roles, interactive dashboards, API integrations, real-time data, and a workflow that was unique to the client's business.
Trying to fit all of that into WordPress would have meant relying on multiple plugins, custom workarounds and compromises.
Instead, we built it in React.
That gave us complete control over the user experience, performance and future scalability.
The lesson isn't that React is better than WordPress.
It's that the right technology depends on the problem you're solving.
Choosing the right stack at the beginning can save months of redevelopment later.
Have you ever seen a project where the wrong technology caused more problems than it solved?
