Man 💔
Mohan Pramanik, 28, made several calls to his family shortly before a deadly fire broke out at the sofa factory in Riyadh where he worked. But his mother, Moyna Begum, could not answer because there was no electricity or internet at home. Mohan later sent her a voice message asking, “Where are you all? Why is no one picking up? Has everyone at home died? I will not be able to talk to you anymore?” Those became his final words to his family. Mohan was among 16 Bangladeshi workers killed in the fire. He had been in Saudi Arabia for seven years and was working toward building a brick house with his younger brother before returning home.
