Help us build and optimize the data platform that powers thousands of restaurants across the US and Canada. In this role, you’ll work with Snowflake, dbt, and SQL to transform complex data into fast, reliable, and trustworthy answers.

Essential Functions
Own and evolve our dbt models with a focus on performance, cost, and maintainability
Partner with stakeholders to understand their questions, translate them into the right analysis, and deliver clear, accurate answers they can act on.
Learn our data model deeply, and help guide the development of a lakehouse data model that supports reporting on the company's strategic initiatives.
Be an active participant in our code review process for reports and dbt models

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a strongly technical analytics/BI role
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or a business analytics program) preferred
Strong proficiency in SQL
Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing models in dbt, including performance and cost tuning
A genuine coding background — you have written and shipped real code and can demonstrate solid engineering fundamentals. We're flexible on language: Python, R, Java, or JavaScript all count

What You'll Do
