SOC Analyst (Junior/Senior):

The role of the Junior SOC Analyst (Security Operations Center) will be to act as the principal for SOC management of the cloud platform. The analyst will design, execute and operate all platforms that will be essential to ensure cybersecurity of the Meghna Cloud platform. The role will involve close interaction with the vulnerability assessment and pe*******on testing team and will update all reports to CISO.

Responsibilities:
Log monitoring system installation and configuration
Threat detection system installation and configuration
Incident response system installation and configuration
Intelligence platform installation and configuration
Systems hardening tools installation and configuration
Operating system, platform and application patch management
Monitoring incidents and response
Security software update and configure
Regular log monitoring and reporting
Threat and incident pattern observation

Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in monitoring, detection, response, intelligence systems installation and configuration
Minimum 2 year experience in SOC monitoring and incident reporting
Wazuh/OSSIM installation and configuration for 3 different organizations SOC

Education/Certification:
Certified SOC Analyst (GIAC/EC-Council/Cybrary Level 3)
OSSIM/Wazuh for Security Engineers (Public/Private Course)
Bachelor's / Master’s degree from any Government recognized or reputed education institution

GenNext Technologies visits Cyber Security Club for the recruitment of potential candidates for . From GenNext, the Chief Operating Officer Mr. Sayeef Rahman and the Chief Technology Officer of GenNext Mr. Kaashif Reza Choudhury delivered a captivating speech to the students and took questions from enthusiasts. The event was graced by the DGM Finance Mr. Abul Kalam Azad and Asst. Systems Engineer Mr. Faisal Ahmed Bhubon from GenNext along with Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider (Head, Department of CSE); Mr. Narayan Ranjan Chakraborty (Associate Professor and Associate Head of the CSE Department); Md. Maruf Hassan (Associate Professor, Dept. of Software Engineering); Amit Chakraborty Chhoton (Convener of DIU Cyber Security Club); Md Umaid Hasan (Co- Convener of DIU Cyber Security Club).

Later the GenNext team visited Daffodil University Cyber Security Center and observed how they are working with various cyber security technologies.

GenNext Technologies Limited has entered into a joint venture revenue sharing agreement with Bangladesh Data Center Company Limited (BDCCL). Under the agreement GenNext will build, operate and maintain the Meghna Cloud as well as ensure sales and marketing of the cloud services to Government and Private Sector together with BDCCL. A Center of Excellence will also be built in joint collaboration which will empower Students and Researchers helping create a Smart Bangladesh.
