In an attempt to better protect the healthcare workers, Fortis Hospital has introduced the Mitra robot to screen any person entering the hospital for Covid-19 symptoms. The person will only be allowed to enter the hospital premises after hospital staff and visitors have successfully gone through the following process-
1. At the entrance of the hospital, the hospital staff/visitor will be greeted by the robot upon detection.
2. The robot will then ask the person his name and phone number for registration.
3. Once registration is complete, the robot will ask the person to step back, so that he can check his body temperature.
4. When the body temperature has been detected, the robot will ask the person if he has any cold/flu like symptoms.
5. After the screening is complete, the robot will refer the person to the flu clinic for further medical assistance.
6. Only to be greeted by Mitra, who already has your registration details passed on by the robot.
7. The person will be then connected to a doctor via a video call, where the doctor will ask the person if he has symptoms similar to coronavirus.
8. If the doctor confirms the person does not have symptoms like coronavirus, he can issue an entry pass to Mitra to give to the person. Only then he will be allowed inside the hospital.
