CodeSmith Tech is looking for a Front-End Engineer (React JS).

As a Front-End, you'll work closely with the Development team and as well with the design team to turn our applications into easy-to-use products for our clients. Delivering a consistent and reliable web experience, improving usability for our customers, and optimizing web design for mobile and other platforms for maximum speed will be your goal. To be considered for this role, the applicants will need:
· Experience: 0-2 years. A strong portfolio is what we are looking for
· Portfolio: A collection of your works to demonstrate your creativity
· Characteristics: This is an autonomous position, so you should be self-sufficient and self-motivated. It's also a creative role, so be open to receiving objective criticism and feedback about your work
· Skills: Concepts of UI/UX philosophies, material design, contemporary design trends, etc. will be a plus point
The Job Requirements are:
· Ability to develop and implement frontend components using React.js, Redux Webpack, etc.
· Convert wireframe and mockups to functional and responsive web application
· Fluent in JavaScript and Web Technologies
· Familiarity with REST API
· Integrate REST API to Front-End
· Collaborate with the Back-End and Design team
· Attending client meetings and corresponding with clients for technical discussions
· Understanding of Authentication and Authorization
· Understanding Control flow of commonly used HTTP requests
· Understanding of common Front-End Development tools like Babel Webpack NPM etc.
· Understanding Dom Manipulation
· Understanding of State Management
· Translating wireframes and mockups into high-quality codes
· Eager to optimize applications for high performance
· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
· Supporting the team throughout the ex*****on of campaigns and projects
· Attending client meetings and corresponding with clients for technical discussions
· Leadership mindset
The considerations for the position include:
Salary: 20-40k (Based on skills, performance, and experience)
Working Hours: 9 AM-6 PM (including 1-hour lunch break)
Nature: Full-time
Weekdays: Sunday – Thursday (During remote office, Saturday for Sprint Planning)
Job Location: Work from Home (Currently)
Please kindly note:
· Initially, you will be working from home. But in the future, you are required to attend physical office. However, presently you may have to occasionally attend office and client meetings physically
· The first 3 months are a probationary period. During this time the salary will be adjusted based on performance (partial/full)
· After the probation period, candidates will be offered a 1-year contract. The renewal of the contract will be subject to performance and project availability, and salary may be re-negotiated.
