Phishing emails trick users into revealing sensitive data, causing major breaches. RedHawks Cyber Research developed a machine learning-based detection approach using NLP and BERT.

With these findings enhancing phishing detection, we have submitted our work to USENIX Security '25.

We are developing strategies to monitor how public financial apps handle sensitive user data. Our focus is on building a robust dataset and implementing anomaly detection pipelines for enhanced security.

📧 Usage & Analysis of ML Algorithms to Detect Phishing/Spam Mails:
We’re leveraging ML, esp. NLP, and anomaly detection to improve phishing and spam mail identification. Exploring the best LLMs to strengthen detection capabilities is a key part of our work.

Internship Details:
🔸 Position: PenTest Management Intern
🔸 Duration: 6 months
🔸 Compensation: Unpaid for the first 3 months; paid for the remaining 3 months (remuneration to be discussed after completion of 3 months)
🔸 Work Arrangement: Hybrid (onsite and offsite, based on demand)

Responsibilities:
🌟 Assist the Pe*******on Testing team in managing and coordinating pe*******on testing engagements.
🌟 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of PenTest reports.

Qualifications:

🔹 Interest in offensive security and Pe*******on Testing.
🔹 Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
🔹 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
