Basic Git operation :

1. Create User and repository from the server and copy the Git clone URL to the local machine
2. Suppose our project name is “Example-Git”
3. Go to the appropriate directory from Git Bash -> cd /c
4. Git command from Git Bash -> git clone URL
5. Now go to the Example-Git directory from git Bash -> cd /c/Example-Git
6. Create new if necessary -> git checkout-b origin/source (source could be master or brunch) . For existing brunch -> git checkout origin/destination (destination = master or existing brunch)
7. Before committing we should consider following steps:
a. -> git stash (it will hold your current script’s change log into the archive to avoid conflicts)
b. -> git fetch
c. -> git reset --hard origin/master
d. -> git stash apply (go get previous archived state)
8. Now put scripts / edit existing scripts from that folder and add all changed file to the local repository. a. -> git fetch

b. -> git add * -f
9. Now commit those file to the local repository : git commit –m ‘message’
10. Now upload the local change to the remote server:
a. -> git push –u origin --all (for first time push to the server )
b. -> git push

Conflict resolve :
To resolve conflict we have to perform rebase as following order:
1. First we have to fetch the script from server -> git fetch
2. To find out the latest commit we will go to the view mode through -> gitk& (we will get SHA1ID from the view panel)
3. Find out the commit -> git rebase –onto origin/master SHA1ID
4. Fix the conflict through inter communication with responsible developers
5. Now resolve the conflict -> git rebase --continue
6. Push the script to the server -> git push origin branch
