One of the problems that this use of technology has brought to us is the user unfriendliness that is often its byproduct. Intrigued by the communication and language barriers that would prevent e-business from flourishing, EBSS decided to invent a software technology to overcome the situation. EBSS subsequently introduced a product at a March 2010 international exhibition to enthusiastic crowds that waited in long lines to see live demonstrations of their technology. The result has been an overwhelming success. EBSS's new technology has resulted in several new products that are destined to transform the degree to which international users utilize e-business. EBSS's focus is to extend this technology beyond language and geographical boundaries, allowing anyone to participate, be connected to, and effectively utilize the global e-business community. Software Engineer (Laravel & CodeIgniter)

Position: Software Engineer
Technology: PHP (Laravel & CodeIgniter)
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2–5 Years (or adjust as needed)
Location: Dhaka

🔧 Job Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel and CodeIgniter

Design and implement RESTful APIs

Work with MySQL or other relational databases

Collaborate with frontend developers and team members

Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance

Maintain code quality, security, and scalability

Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, SMS, etc.)

🎯 Requirements
Strong experience with PHP frameworks: Laravel & CodeIgniter

Good knowledge of HMVC architecture

Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

Experience with Git / version control systems

Understanding of REST API development

Knowledge of server management (Linux, Apache/Nginx) is a plus

💡 Preferred Skills (Optional)
Experience with payment gateway integration

Knowledge of queue systems, caching (Redis)

Familiarity with Docker / CI-CD pipelines

Experience working with AdminLTE or similar dashboards

🎓 Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
